If your school receives Title 1 funding, you may be able to receive subsidized admission and bus reimbursement. Once, you have verified your Title 1 status, please check the boxes below, and our staff will reach out to discuss options for assistance.

I verify that my students receive Title 1 support. If I am a community group, I verify that a majority of my students attend Title 1 schools.

I recognize that scholarship funds are limited, and will be awarded as funds allow. Requests for funding are not guaranteed to be met.

If I am awarded a bus scholarship, I commit to scheduling a bus and submitting the invoice to the Comic-Con Museum via email for reimbursement within one week of the field trip.

Field Trip Preferences: Scheduling and Program Choice

Please let us know the logistical information about your group, the desired timing of your visit, and any other things we're supposed to know. Self-guided field trips may be scheduled for any time during museum operating hours. Field trips with education programs start at 10:00am, and programming ends by 12:30pm. Groups requesting education programs have access to the museum for remainder of museum operating hours. We may be unable to process field trip requests for dates less than two weeks from the date of a submitted request.

For students PK-2nd grade, required adult/student ratio = 5:1; for student 2nd grade-12th grade, required adult/student ratio = 10:1. Required chaperones, including teachers, enter free of charge.

Self-guided trip ($10.00/student): SELF-GUIDED tour of the museum. You will also have access to free curriculum to support your visit.

Comics 101 + Self-guided Field Trip ($12.00/student): You can reserve a Comics 101 class, where students will learn to read, draw, and create comics.

Maker Lab Activity + Self-guided Field Trip($13.00/student): You can reserve a maker experience in the Cox Innovation Lab for up to 30 students per hour.

Two Ed Workshops (Maker Lab + Comics 101)+ Self-guided Field Trip ($15.00/student): Limited to groups less than 90 students

Custom Field Trip Design ($17.00/student): Work with the Director of Education to design a custom field trip to meet your learning targets and objectives.
